For example, it's currently running Android 8.1.0 even though it recieved a security update on June 7th. If I remember correctly, version H of WearOS based on Android 9.0, has optimizations for this devices specific SoC (Snapdragon 3100). Rating: 4 Love the fact that I have lots of choices as far as watch faces go. Keep in mind, some watch faces use more battery than others. Battery life is better if I keep WiFi turned off, and I can get more than a day if I only have Bluetooth and NFC running. All my notifications seem to come thru fine. The SPORT is a very comfortable and light watch to wear all day. The watch is also easy to pair and setup. I love the way it looks, the customization features are awesome. Comfortable, versatile, etc. I'm not crazy about the Wear OS app / software. It's a little hard to navigate and response is delayed. I also have an iPhone, so that might be the root of my problems. The watch and app disconnect constantly. The "tilt to wake" function works sometimes, so I just have the screen on constantly (what good is a watch if you can't see what time it is?). Oh and the battery needs charged nightly. Rating: 5 I have had this watch about a week now. I could not be happier with it. It is very easy to use and paired reasonably easy with my Stylo 6 phone. I have had a time or two where it dropped the Bluetooth connection to my phone but reconnected again in a short time. The watch has a very good quality build to it, and a good wright. My only grip is it can be a little hard to see in the direct sunlight. I was able to get a link taken out of the watch band easily to get a proper fit. The wear OS is very good, it has improved a lot since very 1.0 and I hope Google keeps updating it. It has the potential to be the best smartwatch platform out there. Over all this is a premium feel watch with a lot of options. I saw that this version of the Gen 5 watches was on sale, and liking the style, I took the plunge. I am glad I did! I love it. I am still learning how to use it to its full capability, and with my fat fingers, I am learning to use the voice input, which is working remarkably well. One issue I have found, was that if I lean on my hands, I can inadvertently push and hold the stem in, and that turns the watch off. Took me a while to realize what was happening. Serious design flaw. Speaker sounds muffled resetting the watch turning Bluetooth off and on remedies this for about a day. Then it's permanently muffled and terrible sound quality. So disappointed in such a brand name having this level of sophistication failing to button up a main feature of the Gen 5 watches. The lack of bands for the Champagne color Garret G5 is also a let down.
