M600, still seems to be in beta testing

I bought this hoping to integrate a smart watch into a heart rate monitor device without needing a chest strap. First the good, the wrist-based heart rate seemed accurate to me, no fuss. I did not need a wrist-based text or calendar device hooked to my phone, but it seemed to work OK. Now the bad news, I had to reset the watch anytime it became disconnected from the phone. I also had to reset the Polar Flo app numerous times. The music download worked, but was unable to connect to my BT headset, my headset worked on other products fine. The font size for anything other than watch functions was to small, your running or moving quickly, it needs to be larger. There are to many steps to get into the settings you want to change on a regular basis like wifi on off, reset, BT repair, etc. I am pairing it to a Droid Turbo, all updated software including watch. Sadly, the only thing support could do was offer to take it in for repair so I must return to store I bought it from.

Smart Fitness Tracker

Great combination of smartwatch and fitness tracking. Android wear is an amazement. The optical heart rate monitor is pretty consistent.

Style and fit: it’s not formal wear but it fits every other social scenario. It fits comfortably and doesn’t shift when secured right. I hate shifty watches.

Battery life is acceptable for my needs. The magnetic charger has an awkward feel but snaps right into the port.

There’s one bug I noticed in my 2 months of ownership. My watch stopped tracking activity after a software update. A quick restart, however, put it right back into operation.

Everything I was looking for

I had been back and forth on it. Wanted a fitness tracker that ran android wear. I didn’t like the idea of other watches that had fitness features.

Honestly, I am in love with this watch. It’s comfortable, does everything I need it to, connects to a chest strap if I want, runs Android wear (now 2.0!!!!!)

Polar is great with the updates and polar flow app is awesome! I would recommend buying this if you are looking for a great fitness tracker that happens to be a true smart watch.

Do wish it had a little better of a screen, but it’s really a small thing and not enough to make me dislike the watch. If you are thinking about buying it, you definitely should!!!!

Looks nice, waterproof

I bought the watch because of all the features advertised that were better than fitbit, so I felt an upgrade would be worth the price tag. It is however cumbersome to have to install so many apps. I still can’t figure out how to connect with other users and I feel like it gives me way more steps than I have taken. I don’t find the portal user friendly at all and it did not come with a manual. Last night I slept from 11:30pm to 6:30am and it recorded almost 10 hours of sleep. I am not happy especially after paying that hefty price tag. I expected it to be an upgrade from my fitbit.

The best smartwatch and fitness tracker I’ve owned

I have owned this watch for about 1 1/2 months, and I am very happy with the purchase so far. Unfortunately, I had to return the first M600 because of a bug that prevented me from syncing it right out of the box; however, the second time was the charm. I like to do high intensity circuit style workouts with lots of plyometrics, kettlebells, bodyweight, and suspension cables. The M600 (paired with a Polar H7 HRM) is able to keep up with my fast paced workouts and report accurate data. The pairing of the watch and HRM is near instantaneous. I find that the built in HRM is only accurate when I am running, or other exercises that don’t involve erratic arm movements. I feel comfortable using the built in HRM for my trail running workouts, but I would use my Polar H7 if I were going to do all-out sprints because the intense arm pumping during sprints will likely result in less accurate heart rate readings. This also applies to interval runs wherein I will be pushing myself hard for speed rather than endurance. All in all, I am quite pleased with this watch. The quick update to Android Wear 2.0 was very much appreciated, and the update implemented with no complications whatsoever. I have owned 2 other popular Android Wear watches, and this one outperforms both of them in terms of speed and battery performance. I’m comfortable wearing it throughout the day, whether before, during, or after my workouts. I have completely forgotten about my Polar M400, which was my go to fitness watch before this one.
