Not ready for prime time

I have the polar M400 and had been waiting for this watch. It has everything, if only it performed better.

The vibration notification is too soft and short. Okay, if sitting at a desk, but not okay if active or working out.

It lacks manual laps. Yes, it is a smartwatch, but it is being tailored to the fitness crowd with HRM and GPS (this is a Polar). So, this is a big mistake.

Also, the voice commands are iffy. Sometimes it catches what is said, sometimes not. And you must be quick, because if there is a slight pause, it will end the recording and cut you off.

On the hardware side, the first watch I got would not initialize and I had to return it. This current second watch has major problems with the optical heart rate. Walking around the house, it can be 40 beats off on the high side (compared while using my polar m400 with the heart rate monitor strap). On a treadmill run, it would not hit the high heart rate and started to fizzle at about 150-155. I could not get it above that, although I know I was in the mid to high 160’s. However, using it with the chest strap works great, but this defeats the purpose of an optical heart rate monitor. I am very familiar using optical heart rate monitors and how to wear them, as I had another brand and it worked great, and even used it in the pool.

Music makes me happy

First I was a little hesistant with the change from my chest strap to just the wrist but when the battery died. I was forced. That’s when the M600 show me it’s worth. It had some issues with the polar diary but that has improved too. Now the addition of music to the M600 hundred just blows my mind on runs. Wireless, no phone to carry! The GPS is spot on. I truly like this product and the battery time is enough!

Great tracker!

Honestly I don’t unferstand where the bad reviews coming from. In order to see the time you don’t have to push any buttons. Or would you need to do is just twist your wrist and it will show up automatically. Also it shows how much of body fat is being burned at the end of the workout. You can use this trucker for every single sport in the world it’s amazing.
