Amazing watch
Rating: 5
I bought this watch in May, and used it for my entire internship, I love the clicky turn wheel, and every app that was preloaded into the watch. The notifications on my phone allow me to keep the ringtone off, and still get them without notifying everyone around me, and texting people on here is a breeze. I have gone swimming with this multiple times, and not had a single issue.

Bought it with my note 10+ they work flawlessly together and it does everything I need it to do also it being water resistant is an added bonus. Only thing I changed was the band to a metal one they are more comfortable to me and look better

Checked off all the boxes for me.
Rating: 5
I've been researching all the available fitness trackers on the market, trying to narrow the field down a bit to make an educated decision. I made a list of must-haves to assist me in the process. This one checked off all the boxes. I was leaving heavily towards the Fitbit Ionic, Garmin Forerunner 245, & Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro towards the end. So far, I'm very happy with my decision. I love how sporty it looks, how simple & intuitive it is to navigate with bezel or via touch on the fly, the all metal, yet lightweight build quality, and the ability to use it WITHOUT MY PHONE to listen to music on my earbuds & even pay at NFC enabled registers using Samsung Pay. Great device.

A sidekick for your phone!
Rating: 5
Having a gear sport is like having a sidekick for your phone. You view and reply to messages without pulling your phone out of your pocket. You can answer and decline calls as well. You can set reminders and track your fitness, which I think is really cool, I never get to skip a beat. Ultimately it is syncronized with your phone, so it makes your life easier.

Better than expected for fitness tracking.
Rating: 5
I was looking for something to replace my old fitness tracker. I hadn't thought to look at the Samsung gear initially but had recently read up on the gear sport which was more up my alley as far as needs. I don't really care about taking calls from my wrist so the fact that it doesn't have cellular isn't a big deal at all. I went with this over another specialized fitness tracker due to utility apps. I've been hiking and doing walks with the watch. GPS seems to be accurate and step counter seems to be more accurate that my previous tracker which would log steps while I was sitting and moving my arms around. The gear doesn't seem nearly as sensitive. Battery life is decent. I can get about 3 1/2 days with light use. When I use GPS regularly (every day, about 30-45 mins), It's been averaging about a day less. Even though it's smaller than the gear S3, this thing is still pretty large. I've always liked larger watches but it may be a bit much for women who want something small and discreet. There wasn't an option to order a specific band size and from looking at the back of this one, it's labeled as a large. Assuming that's what the "L" means. I'm by no means a small woman but I have slender wrists. This band fits nicely on the 2nd to last hole. If you're a very small woman or child, this large band may not fit even on the last hole. Overall, the quality and finish of the watch is awesome. The display is bright and the touch response is very good. It's easy to install and navigate through the apps. Being able to change the face displays is a fun feature. Plenty of free ones available and then pay ones if you want to go that route. The Spotify app on this watch is just sweet. I am a bit disappointed that I won't be able to use Samsung pay. It would be great if you could use it on other Samsung android devices outside of their flagships and also include the functionality on other manufacturer android phones. At any rate, it's not a deal breaker since it wasn't a main reason for purchasing. I'm loving this watch so far. Hoping it holds up for a while.

Great
Rating: 5
I had bought this about 3 months ago. This is a great watch. They kind of had a bad things with battery draining earlier this week. But instead of writing a bad review like a lot of other people. I waited it out and boom its fixed.. Everything on here is extremely practical and its simplistic. The sleek design of it and the apps. It is fantastic watch. It is everything I wanted and more. I have already recommended this watch to people.

Sporty & Classy
Rating: 5
This watch is beyond all expectations. I have had android wear watches since 2014 (LG, Sony, and Motorola) This is my first samsung watch / my first experience with Tizen and so far its basically the same except for the lack of my "hey Google" commands.... which i never really used to begin with. Spotify/Downloading my playlists directly to my watch works flawlessly. Wifi connectivity is amazing, and has a great range. i can leave my phone (pixel) at my desk or in the gym locker and just have my watch and headphones on me and never miss anything when connected to wifi. The size/shape is perfect. I normally prefer a square face watch because of the fit when working out, but this watch is thin and has a rounded square shape which makes not feel like it is going to interfere with my wrist. also it is very light and feels great. The battery is great. i'm usually at 50% by the time i go to bed, and i have the screen always on. i am still getting used to the UI but so far its been easy.

Love this watch!!
Rating: 5
This is my first smart/fitness watch and I absolutely love it! I have read some reviews on poor battery life but in my opinion the battery life is actually quite well. I can go about three days before having to charge it (from what I hear that's much longer than an apple watch). As far as tracking, I use this watch everyday to run and regardless of running on a treadmill vs. outside it does a pretty good job! One caveat for running on a treadmill though is to make sure you turn off GPS or it will stop tracking. The only complaint I have about it is that I noticed the volume tends to be a bit lower than when I connect my wireless headphones to my phone. A volume control would be extremely beneficial! Other than that, highly recommend!

First smart watch and lovin it
Rating: 5
I bought the Samsung Gear sport watch as a spontaneous by but it has proven to be one of the most useful, stylish as well as convenient accessories. Also, I truly believe that it is one of Samsung's finest products. SI many watch faces that you can get free of charge or unsurpassed and the changing of the colors is spectacular. Quite honestly, I can't say enough good about the Samsung as well as their gear S3 sport smartwatch

14 months later & I still LOVE the Samsung Active
Rating: 5
It was back in early 2019 that I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active, months later the Active 2 was released. I sold my Active and Purchased the Active 2. Months later, November 2019, I purchased my first Active 2 LTE and then sold my Active 2. Yeah, the Active 2 LTE has been my favorite smartwatch in the last five years!!! Here's my YouTube channel in which I have tested the watch and added VLOG style posts.

Better than my Apple watch 3
Rating: 5
Im in love with this smart watch! Is way better than my apple watch 3. If you are going to buy the Galaxy watch active 2 invest the extra $150 for the LTE version, I bought the regular watch and end up changing it for the LTE version which is PREMIUM in ALL the sense of the word.

Cool Watch!
Rating: 4
Great watch. It has a lot going on. I only hope that an update will eventually allow it to support a trail hiking gps map system. That will make it "whole for me". That was the main reason for me purchasing it. The name "Active 2" made me assume that it would support more gps aps.

Galaxy Active 2 Needs Improvment
Rating: 3
Samsung really makes Good Hardware, But software I don't think so. But Samsung Active 2 Hardware is very Nicely Design, But Software wise is Behind Google Wear OS, I don't like the Tizen Software lacks of Pure Android Apps and the Samsung App Store is really Bad., I come from a Fossil 5G with Wear OS and it had most Android stock apps Like Google Play Music, and a lot of Stock Android Apps, Samsung Needs to End TIZEN and BITZY, and add better specs to its Samsung Smart Watch, Samsung should dedicate making Hardware not Software.

Limited
Rating: 3
I bought this 2 weeks ago with the understanding that it is a standalone device. Unfortunately, even if you purchase the LTE version you will still be tethered to your phone by the short range leash of bluetooth if you're on certain carrier networks. I've learned this the hard way. No one tells you this till you find out your watch keeps going out of range and becomes useless as a standalone device, as advertised. My carrier is Sprint and they only fessed up after I spoke with Samsung. Doesn't always track steps if your arms are not in a certain position and motion. Disconnects from WIFI and network thorough out the day.

Hard to Sync!!!!!!
Rating: 2
I bought the Gold 44m. On 12-26-19. And could not get it to sync to my Note 9. So I am returning it back to the store for another one. If this does not work Samsung you all need to try it again. It should not be this hard to sync a Samsung device to another Samsung device.

Way too buggy and was pointless to get LTE model
Rating: 1
I purchased this mainly for the sleep tracking, but I was hoping to use it for a lot more. Unfortunately, it has far too many bugs and has proven to be completely unreliable. For instance, it will miss entire nights sleep, will count time on the charger as being asleep, and oddly enough, it will correctly detect that I'm awake in the sleep tracking (for some reason, "awake" is one category of sleep that it uses), but will still count that as time "asleep", so even when it correctly (believably?) detects my sleep it still gives an inflated amount. Also, its heart tracking is horrendous! It often has me at 30-50 extra bpm when I use the tracking. The only way I've found to get it to correct itself is to change it back to manual, then do a handful of manual readings. Each reading will be roughly 10-15 bpm less until it gets down to the (hopefully) accurate value. My biggest complaint though is that I paid for the LTE version so that I could use it independently of my cell phone. This only works as intended if it's in frequent range of my cell and my cell is turned on. If my phone shuts down or restarts for any reason (low power, etc), the watch software stops it from being usable for ANYTHING other than the watch face itself. You can't even adjust the watch brightness or mute it without having to go to your phone, charge it, power it back on, and unlock your phone. So don't even think about hoping to use this in AN EMERGENCY... There have been a lot of other issues, but those are ones that make it amount to little more than an expensive fashion piece. I wish I'd gotten a different brand. Can't mention any other brands in reviews per their guidelines, but sounds like (don't) 'get this'.

This watch absolutely sucks.
Rating: 1
i got the watch to use on my workouts and record my runs more accurately but the battery dies with little to no use. i charged the device to 100% and 4 hours later its completely dead, the power save mode doesn't help much either.

BLACK SCREEN - UNRESPONSIVE- NO FIX
Rating: 1
BLACK SCREEN - After owning for two weeks, I didnt want to wear it without a protective cover, so I waited another week for it to arrive. Once it arrived I was anxious to put it to use. The watch was charged to 89% as indicated by the Wearable app on my phone. I turned it on, I could feel the haptic response when moving my finger around the bezel...no screen response. Tried all options noted by other customers. Reboot, hold power button, hold both buttons 15 seconds...nothing. Black screen. Samsung rep stated no other customers have experienced this. Not true. Even though there are responses from their technicians on their website, the tech still denied anyone else had the same issue. So...either mail back for repair and wait or return for a refund. Disappointed for sure.
