GREAT WATCH BUT NOW THE BAND FALLS OFF ALL DAY EVERY DAY
Rating: 5
I've had this watch for over a year now I believe, and now the band falls off all the time. the band isn't ripped or anything, just the little pin that pushes in to both sides of the watch face won't stay on.I am not happy about not being able to wear it. Can someone please help me?

Beautiful!
Rating: 5
I love this watch. I've been through a few smartwatches and always returned to the gear fit due to the size and shape. I then upgraded to the s2 for the functionality. This watch is the perfect mix of the two. The notifications, the agenda and the health features and exactly what I need. The classic feels much lighter than the s2 and the ridges on the bezel make it easier for me to use. But what I love is the look, it is gorgeous!

Samsung classic smart watch
Rating: 5
Hello Everyone, I have written before about things. I am not tech savvy and I don't really don't use my Samsung galaxy 6 edge the way that I am supposed to, but I love the combination of both my watch and phone together. I can't hear my phone all the time and missed 2 emergency calls. I bought the smart watch so that I don't miss anything. I can tell you it goes off with all notifications that are on my phone. I can program everything and anything and my watch lets me know. I realize that it sounds lazy but I have been able to program things for my job also. It vibrates and is non-intrusive. Not like the notification from the phone. Also, I can not carry my phone on my person at work... THIS IS AWESOME !!!!! My only thing against the watch is that there seems to be no thought process to women. The watch bands are either black or brown. I actually ordered one on the market that I changed it to. I would have like to have the Samsung brand to complete the watch and be able to change it easily. I hope that they consider this for their accessories soon.

This is truly a smart watch!
Rating: 5
Without looking garish and futuristic, this Gear S2 Classic truly is a smart watch. From turning it on for the first time, it links seamlessly with my Galaxy Note5 and complements it perfectly. The display is bright and clear, the apps from mail to uber are a joy to use. And all at the same time it looks like a proper watch. As an added bonus, it is water resistant. The battery life is excellent. So far I have managed 3 days without having to recharge the battery, and that's without setting it to greyscale mode.

I put my Swiss Timepieces on the shelf
Rating: 5
I would consider myself a watch enthusiast and collector with many Swiss Made high end timepieces. I have been waiting a long time for a smart watch that I could wear alone on my wrist instead of a watch on my left and a fitness band on my right. The Samsung Gear S2 Classic gives me both in a beautiful package and thousands less than any other watch in my collection. Well Done Samsung!!!!!

Almost Very Happy
Rating: 4
I am really pleased with the Gear S2 Classic. First and foremost, I wanted a good watch. I have already changed the band to one more of my liking. I usually have my phone with me anyway, and have basically been using in standalone mode, and get 3-4 days of battery before the next charging. It's snappy and responsive. There are a minimum set of apps that I have installed and use. I don't see me using a browser or even a map on my wrist since I have my phone. However, I would like to see in a future update...give the option for the watch to wake up to the last app open and in use!!! In other words, I use my stopwatch and timer quite often...it's a pain for the watch to come on, and the clock face is there and then I have to dig to open the app in use. I'd like to be able to open up and see some apps like timer or stopwatch greet me when the watch wakes up. This was a feature available in the Galaxy Gear S (original). Better way to access recent apps, like 2 finger option on Gear S1. Maybe ability to swap top and bottom physical buttons for functionality. Also, what's the deal with S-Health? Is there no way to sync up with my phone? A standalone compass would be nice, if possible with hardware. Otherwise, happy with my purchase.

Great Watch
Rating: 4
The watch is great. The only down fall to me is the price. I feel that the tech. Side of it will improve in time so the price that you pay for it now might not be worth it since you are spending more than what you pay for a cell phone upfront. For the price you do wish it could do more. But it does have a lot of positives as far as uploading and controlling music and pictures. Tracks your health. The faces are the best, there's something out there for everyone. And the faces itself have unique programs.

Currently all the designs reflect a more masculine style. It would be nice to have something like a rose gold to reflect a feminine style.

14 months later & I still LOVE the Samsung Active
Rating: 5
It was back in early 2019 that I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active, months later the Active 2 was released. I sold my Active and Purchased the Active 2. Months later, November 2019, I purchased my first Active 2 LTE and then sold my Active 2. Yeah, the Active 2 LTE has been my favorite smartwatch in the last five years!!! Here's my YouTube channel in which I have tested the watch and added VLOG style posts.

Better than my Apple watch 3
Rating: 5
Im in love with this smart watch! Is way better than my apple watch 3. If you are going to buy the Galaxy watch active 2 invest the extra $150 for the LTE version, I bought the regular watch and end up changing it for the LTE version which is PREMIUM in ALL the sense of the word.

Cool Watch!
Rating: 4
Great watch. It has a lot going on. I only hope that an update will eventually allow it to support a trail hiking gps map system. That will make it "whole for me". That was the main reason for me purchasing it. The name "Active 2" made me assume that it would support more gps aps.

Galaxy Active 2 Needs Improvment
Rating: 3
Samsung really makes Good Hardware, But software I don't think so. But Samsung Active 2 Hardware is very Nicely Design, But Software wise is Behind Google Wear OS, I don't like the Tizen Software lacks of Pure Android Apps and the Samsung App Store is really Bad., I come from a Fossil 5G with Wear OS and it had most Android stock apps Like Google Play Music, and a lot of Stock Android Apps, Samsung Needs to End TIZEN and BITZY, and add better specs to its Samsung Smart Watch, Samsung should dedicate making Hardware not Software.

Limited
Rating: 3
I bought this 2 weeks ago with the understanding that it is a standalone device. Unfortunately, even if you purchase the LTE version you will still be tethered to your phone by the short range leash of bluetooth if you're on certain carrier networks. I've learned this the hard way. No one tells you this till you find out your watch keeps going out of range and becomes useless as a standalone device, as advertised. My carrier is Sprint and they only fessed up after I spoke with Samsung. Doesn't always track steps if your arms are not in a certain position and motion. Disconnects from WIFI and network thorough out the day.

Hard to Sync!!!!!!
Rating: 2
I bought the Gold 44m. On 12-26-19. And could not get it to sync to my Note 9. So I am returning it back to the store for another one. If this does not work Samsung you all need to try it again. It should not be this hard to sync a Samsung device to another Samsung device.

Way too buggy and was pointless to get LTE model
Rating: 1
I purchased this mainly for the sleep tracking, but I was hoping to use it for a lot more. Unfortunately, it has far too many bugs and has proven to be completely unreliable. For instance, it will miss entire nights sleep, will count time on the charger as being asleep, and oddly enough, it will correctly detect that I'm awake in the sleep tracking (for some reason, "awake" is one category of sleep that it uses), but will still count that as time "asleep", so even when it correctly (believably?) detects my sleep it still gives an inflated amount. Also, its heart tracking is horrendous! It often has me at 30-50 extra bpm when I use the tracking. The only way I've found to get it to correct itself is to change it back to manual, then do a handful of manual readings. Each reading will be roughly 10-15 bpm less until it gets down to the (hopefully) accurate value. My biggest complaint though is that I paid for the LTE version so that I could use it independently of my cell phone. This only works as intended if it's in frequent range of my cell and my cell is turned on. If my phone shuts down or restarts for any reason (low power, etc), the watch software stops it from being usable for ANYTHING other than the watch face itself. You can't even adjust the watch brightness or mute it without having to go to your phone, charge it, power it back on, and unlock your phone. So don't even think about hoping to use this in AN EMERGENCY... There have been a lot of other issues, but those are ones that make it amount to little more than an expensive fashion piece. I wish I'd gotten a different brand. Can't mention any other brands in reviews per their guidelines, but sounds like (don't) 'get this'.

This watch absolutely sucks.
Rating: 1
i got the watch to use on my workouts and record my runs more accurately but the battery dies with little to no use. i charged the device to 100% and 4 hours later its completely dead, the power save mode doesn't help much either.

BLACK SCREEN - UNRESPONSIVE- NO FIX
Rating: 1
BLACK SCREEN - After owning for two weeks, I didnt want to wear it without a protective cover, so I waited another week for it to arrive. Once it arrived I was anxious to put it to use. The watch was charged to 89% as indicated by the Wearable app on my phone. I turned it on, I could feel the haptic response when moving my finger around the bezel...no screen response. Tried all options noted by other customers. Reboot, hold power button, hold both buttons 15 seconds...nothing. Black screen. Samsung rep stated no other customers have experienced this. Not true. Even though there are responses from their technicians on their website, the tech still denied anyone else had the same issue. So...either mail back for repair and wait or return for a refund. Disappointed for sure.
