GREAT WATCH BUT NOW THE BAND FALLS OFF ALL DAY EVERY DAY Rating: 5 I've had this watch for over a year now I believe, and now the band falls off all the time. the band isn't ripped or anything, just the little pin that pushes in to both sides of the watch face won't stay on.I am not happy about not being able to wear it. Can someone please help me? by MitchC721 on 2017-06-04T17:00:00 Beautiful! Rating: 5 I love this watch. I've been through a few smartwatches and always returned to the gear fit due to the size and shape. I then upgraded to the s2 for the functionality. This watch is the perfect mix of the two. The notifications, the agenda and the health features and exactly what I need. The classic feels much lighter than the s2 and the ridges on the bezel make it easier for me to use.
But what I love is the look, it is gorgeous! by Sflgal on 2016-02-16T16:00:00 love this new piece of Tech Rating: 5 I was very skeptical at first about getting a smart watch saying i would hardly use it. So recently i won a Gear s2 and been using it fr a few days. WOW what a gadget, HOW DID I SURVIVE WITHOUT this assistant on my hand giving me all my notifications on my wrist. Thanks a Million SAMSUNG. Now just waiting for my Free tablet to get here lol. by Bhad007 on 2016-10-29T17:00:00 Samsung classic smart watch Rating: 5 Hello Everyone,
I have written before about things. I am not tech savvy and I don't really don't use my Samsung galaxy 6 edge the way that I am supposed to, but I love the combination of both my watch and phone together. I can't hear my phone all the time and missed 2 emergency calls. I bought the smart watch so that I don't miss anything.
I can tell you it goes off with all notifications that are on my phone. I can program everything and anything and my watch lets me know. I realize that it sounds lazy but I have been able to program things for my job also. It vibrates and is non-intrusive. Not like the notification from the phone. Also, I can not carry my phone on my person at work... THIS IS AWESOME !!!!!
My only thing against the watch is that there seems to be no thought process to women. The watch bands are either black or brown. I actually ordered one on the market that I changed it to. I would have like to have the Samsung brand to complete the watch and be able to change it easily. I hope that they consider this for their accessories soon. by calypso on 2016-02-26T16:00:00 This is truly a smart watch! Rating: 5 Without looking garish and futuristic, this Gear S2 Classic truly is a smart watch.
From turning it on for the first time, it links seamlessly with my Galaxy Note5 and complements it perfectly.
The display is bright and clear, the apps from mail to uber are a joy to use. And all at the same time it looks like a proper watch. As an added bonus, it is water resistant.
The battery life is excellent. So far I have managed 3 days without having to recharge the battery, and that's without setting it to greyscale mode. by Neil3on on 2016-03-03T16:00:00 I put my Swiss Timepieces on the shelf Rating: 5 I would consider myself a watch enthusiast and collector with many Swiss Made high end timepieces. I have been waiting a long time for a smart watch that I could wear alone on my wrist instead of a watch on my left and a fitness band on my right. The Samsung Gear S2 Classic gives me both in a beautiful package and thousands less than any other watch in my collection. Well Done Samsung!!!!! by Martiz27 on 2015-12-08T16:00:00 Almost Very Happy Rating: 4 I am really pleased with the Gear S2 Classic. First and foremost, I wanted a good watch. I have already changed the band to one more of my liking. I usually have my phone with me anyway, and have basically been using in standalone mode, and get 3-4 days of battery before the next charging. It's snappy and responsive.
There are a minimum set of apps that I have installed and use. I don't see me using a browser or even a map on my wrist since I have my phone.
However, I would like to see in a future update...give the option for the watch to wake up to the last app open and in use!!! In other words, I use my stopwatch and timer quite often...it's a pain for the watch to come on, and the clock face is there and then I have to dig to open the app in use. I'd like to be able to open up and see some apps like timer or stopwatch greet me when the watch wakes up. This was a feature available in the Galaxy Gear S (original).
Better way to access recent apps, like 2 finger option on Gear S1.
Maybe ability to swap top and bottom physical buttons for functionality.
Also, what's the deal with S-Health? Is there no way to sync up with my phone?
A standalone compass would be nice, if possible with hardware.
Otherwise, happy with my purchase. by Forge on 2015-11-18T16:00:00 Great Watch Rating: 4 The watch is great. The only down fall to me is the price. I feel that the tech. Side of it will improve in time so the price that you pay for it now might not be worth it since you are spending more than what you pay for a cell phone upfront. For the price you do wish it could do more. But it does have a lot of positives as far as uploading and controlling music and pictures. Tracks your health. The faces are the best, there's something out there for everyone. And the faces itself have unique programs. by Tico on 2016-05-29T17:00:00 Samsung Gear Rating: 4 very useful, notifications add value , no interruption created meanwhile your are in meetings, remote control in case that you need to open an application, application like health care will also get conscious about time sitting or walking for health sake , price is fare based on alll bennefits in your wrist by sundevils on 2016-01-26T16:00:00 Additional Options Rating: 4 Currently all the designs reflect a more masculine style. It would be nice to have something like a rose gold to reflect a feminine style. by JBoyd2016 on 2016-01-15T16:00:00 | samsung active watch Rating: 5 Great watch my wife loves it. She is still figuring a few things out but over all she rely loves all the functions of it by Freddie on 2020-04-30T17:00:00 Rating: 5

Love this watch! Rating: 5 I always wanted to upgrade to a real smartwatch from a basic fitness tracker I had gotten for free a while back. So, when I had the option to get one with my S20 Ultra pre-order, I jumped at the chance! I'm really happy with it. The size is great for me at 40mm. I went with the rose gold option as I really like rose gold jewelry. It not only looks great but works great. I have no issues with it connecting to my phone or using it. I really like all the watch face options as well as all the apps I can use. I love how I can get notified from the apps on my phone on my watch. I have A LOT of trouble sleeping and being able to track my sleep is a great thing. The fitness options are great too. I love how customizable it is. I'm still getting the hang of it but I'm very happy with it so far! by LindsayDD on 2020-03-19T17:00:00 Rating: 4 I love how easy it was to set the watch up. its very customizable. I can get a lot of different watch faces and also add widgets. It synced effortlessly to my Note 9 and its light on my wrist. The only thing I dont like is not being able to make or receive calls on it. by Tameli on 2019-03-29T17:00:00
Like it a lot Rating: 4 i wish a smaller face size was available. 40mm is a little big for my liking but that is just my preference.
the only negative is the battery life. it needs to be charged every day and a half to 2 days. devices i've had in the past have usually lasted twice as long on a charge. by Brellas mom on 2020-08-02T17:00:00 Rear glass plate came off completely Rating: 1 today i woke up and found that the rear glass plate of my galaxy watch active came off exposing the internals of the watch. i'm very careful with my devices, i never washed my hands with the watch on it.
i'm extremely disappointed because the warranty has expired recently. by reaver2006 on 2020-07-31T17:00:00 Terrible battery life Rating: 1 After many tries at adjusting various features to reduce battery usage it was evident it came no where close to the advertised 80 hour battery life for even the basic functions. I even tried contacting Samsung for help on this issue which was pretty much useless. The reason I bought it was to replace my Fitbit, and mainly so I could listen to Spotify when running. It was between this watch and the new Fitbit equivalent but since I had a Samsung S9 I thought the they would be more compatible and it would be a seamless type of experience. Quite the opposite. The Bluetooth keeps cutting out and has to reconnect. If I keep the watch 1 or 2 feet from my ear pods it is OK, anything further it keeps dropping the connection.
I bought because I thought they would be good fit with my Samsung phone. I am now turned off by everything that's Samsung. I am ditching their phone and TV's for better quality and customer service. Be warned people, their products and quality as well as their customer service has really taken a turn for the worst anymore, look somewhere else. by Mark on 2020-08-15T17:00:00 Battery Rating: 1 The battery absolutely sucks on the watch ,it also drains the battery on my phone , I closed out as many as as I could and didn't help, won't even make a full day on a single charge, most likely I'll be returning by Jilly on 2020-01-11T16:00:00 Glossy coating on the band starts peeling! Rating: 1 I bought this 1 month ago and the glossy coating on the original Samsung silicone band started peeling. I raised my concern to Samsung, and their response was its normal "wear and tear". It's extremely ugly to look at. Huge design flaw on the strap. Should not have the glossy coating on silicone, now it just looks bad. by Penguin on 2019-12-18T16:00:00 Battery shortage Rating: 1 i recently ordered the galaxy watch to help monitor my heart rate but was unable to do so because the battery would not even last four hours. i ordered the watch brand new and had the battery die on me several times with minimal usage time of the watch throughout the week that i had it. battery life was not good at all, quite horrible! by Hyacinth on 2020-07-11T17:00:00 |
