As a Gen1 owner, this Gen4 is outstanding. The look of the watch is Fabulous and jewelry like for a smart watch. The Battery life is great, even better the charge time is way faster than any watch smart watch I currently own. Suche as my Gen1 fossile, my Iconic Fitbit, and my Applewatch Gen3. The only thing i don't like is the fact that they changed the charging method. I get it though as they added a hart monitor the physical dynamics of the watch needed to change. The hart monitor is decent as well but no match for the apple or Fitbit. Overall though I think this is a solid watch. Nice and light and lovely, especially to the eye.

I absolutely love my watch. Its beautiful and works great. My only complaint is the lack of documentation. Of course theres the initial start up information pamphlet. But nothing that explains what all the buttons do. I had to look up online all the functions. Also there was no explanation as to how to remove links from the band. Since this watch is supposed to be a womans watch but comes so big a man could wear it without a problem, this information would have been helpful. Especially when you pay almost $300 for a watch. I had to take it to a jewelers to have links taken out. Someyhing I've usually been able to do myself. This is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

Worst smartwatch I have ever owned. Would not keep connected to my WiFi, didn't track steps right, and didn't really have a long battery life. I had to go to the Fossil store 4 times for help. Just not pleased. I returned the watch. I have owned several Fossil watches and never had a problem until this watch.

I always wanted to upgrade to a real smartwatch from a basic fitness tracker I had gotten for free a while back. So, when I had the option to get one with my S20 Ultra pre-order, I jumped at the chance! I'm really happy with it. The size is great for me at 40mm. I went with the rose gold option as I really like rose gold jewelry. It not only looks great but works great. I have no issues with it connecting to my phone or using it. I really like all the watch face options as well as all the apps I can use. I love how I can get notified from the apps on my phone on my watch. I have A LOT of trouble sleeping and being able to track my sleep is a great thing. The fitness options are great too. I love how customizable it is. I'm still getting the hang of it but I'm very happy with it so far!

I love how easy it was to set the watch up. its very customizable. I can get a lot of different watch faces and also add widgets. It synced effortlessly to my Note 9 and its light on my wrist. The only thing I dont like is not being able to make or receive calls on it.

i wish a smaller face size was available. 40mm is a little big for my liking but that is just my preference.
the only negative is the battery life. it needs to be charged every day and a half to 2 days. devices i've had in the past have usually lasted twice as long on a charge.

today i woke up and found that the rear glass plate of my galaxy watch active came off exposing the internals of the watch. i'm very careful with my devices, i never washed my hands with the watch on it.
i'm extremely disappointed because the warranty has expired recently.

After many tries at adjusting various features to reduce battery usage it was evident it came no where close to the advertised 80 hour battery life for even the basic functions. I even tried contacting Samsung for help on this issue which was pretty much useless. The reason I bought it was to replace my Fitbit, and mainly so I could listen to Spotify when running. It was between this watch and the new Fitbit equivalent but since I had a Samsung S9 I thought the they would be more compatible and it would be a seamless type of experience. Quite the opposite. The Bluetooth keeps cutting out and has to reconnect. If I keep the watch 1 or 2 feet from my ear pods it is OK, anything further it keeps dropping the connection.
I bought because I thought they would be good fit with my Samsung phone. I am now turned off by everything that's Samsung. I am ditching their phone and TV's for better quality and customer service. Be warned people, their products and quality as well as their customer service has really taken a turn for the worst anymore, look somewhere else.

I bought this 1 month ago and the glossy coating on the original Samsung silicone band started peeling. I raised my concern to Samsung, and their response was its normal "wear and tear". It's extremely ugly to look at. Huge design flaw on the strap. Should not have the glossy coating on silicone, now it just looks bad.

i recently ordered the galaxy watch to help monitor my heart rate but was unable to do so because the battery would not even last four hours. i ordered the watch brand new and had the battery die on me several times with minimal usage time of the watch throughout the week that i had it. battery life was not good at all, quite horrible!
