I'm Totally Satisfied
Rating: 5
I fell in love with this watch since the first day I bought it. I really love all the features on the watch.

Goos watch, amazing design

Really great with a few minor setbacks
Rating: 4
It's a good watch and well-rounded. However, the touch screen can be a little sluggish as well as some of the fitness apps. It's very usable, though, and if anyone wants an affordable and usable watch, I would recommend this one.

A solid upgrade
Rating: 4
So far, I've had a gen 2 Wander (LOVED), a gen 3 Explorist, and have just upgraded to the exact same in gen 4, (another black Explorist)--so this is a real apples-to-apples review. (I'm 5'3", 150lb F & love my chunky watches!) Something I noticed immediately was how much lighter the gen 4 Explorist was compared to gen 3. The case is just slightly thinner, with a more platicky back to accommodate the HR monitor. So the profile is just a little thinner. The case looks bigger, because the metal frame is narrower, but the bezel under the glass is still pretty big--the screen itself is no bigger, but it looks really nice. I DO miss the speaker a little bit--I never used my watches for phone calls, but liked to have a sound go with the vibration when getting an alert or alarm. However the change in weight has made the vibration feel better on this watch than the last generation, so I've been pretty comfortable with having it gone. The three hardware buttons are still one of my favorite things--the two side buttons are still re-mappable, and that's very handy! I'm finding that this watch isn't scooting down on my wrist as much as the heavier gen 3, so I'm not accidentally hitting the buttons with the top of my hand when bending my wrist nearly as much. Battery life at first was pretty awful, but that's par for the course on a new watch. Remember to give your watch a few days to fully update. One thing I did that immediately improved my battery life was clear the data from the fossil app on the watch so that the "Fossil" app was no longer reading HR. That was an unfortunate loss for me--I really liked seeing my heart rate on my watch faces, and that was one of my reasons for upgrading. But the Fossil app was killing my battery life. I was able to turn on constant monitoring in Google Fit, and I'm consistently getting 20-24 hours of battery. I get better stats, and all I have to do is scroll over to the HR tile. Happy with my upgrade!

Very good
Rating: 4
I love what options I have with this watch and the compatibility. However not all the apps work how I expected they would, which is understandable as I am not familiar with smartwatch tech. I purchased this for work so that I could answer texts and look at work email. I can in fact do those things, but there are apps that simply do not work the same as you would expect. In summary, it does depend on your phone and its service and it seems to be more of an incoming message reciever rather than making a quick text outgoing.

Watch is good, strap not so much.
Rating: 3
The watch itself is very nice and easy to use. I would not get the silicone band again. It ripped off on the third day of use from simply reaching into my pocket. Get the leather or a metal band and you should be good to go.

Still getting the hang of it, not 100% yet.
Rating: 3
Over all i really love the watch. Its really nice and fits my wrist well. I am still getting the hang of it though so theres a few things that either are glitches or its just me. But, the battery does not last as long as i thought it would. Im wearing it by 5am and it will definitely be dead by midnight. Also it does not seem to be able to be connected to my phone and my headphones at the same time, so i have to disconnect it from my phone so i can play music at the gym. This was a huge hassle to then reconnect. Other than that its been good. Still not 100% loving it yet though. Time will tell.

Don't buy this watch if you wear on left wrist.
Rating: 2
I'm left handed and I wear watches on my left wrist. Every time I bend my wrist it presses all the buttons and the watch goes crazy. I thought when it said adjustable watch face it meant you could invert it to wear on your left wrist with the buttons facing away from your hand. Plus it's hard to figure out if you don't use google apps.

Step count between Explorist HR Gen 4 and Fitbit versa 2
Rating: 2
I have this model, I like all its design. What I do not like is the way of counting steps, I have compared it with the fitbit versa 2, I have walked them at the same time and at the end of the day the fibit counts almost 5,000 more steps. I have taken steps and seeing both smartwatch. I still don't know the reason why

I wouldn't recommend this watch.
Rating: 1
The battery dies like in 8 hours it's crazy. I have the wifi and that feature allowing you to make payments turned off and this battery still does not last. I'm wondering how can I get my money back but I think I threw away the return slip.

BEST battery life so far!!
Rating: 5
So I initially purchased the Gen4 because the Fossil Sport was sold out and was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with it. The only thing good about the Gen4 is the body; I'm in love with the black diamond stainless steel. Besides that, no. Glitchy and I had to charge it upwards of 3x a day! So when the Sport came back I immediately ordered it and decided to hold a contest of sorts to determine which one to keep. The Sport blew the Gen4 out of the water!!! *Battery really does last 24hrs *No glitching *Same features as the Gen4 including water proof I wore both watches at the same time, and what I did on one watch I did on the other. The Gen4 ended up dying on me 4 hours in (after sending texts, starting work outs, playing music on iHeart radio) the Sport lasted me all night until after I was home with continued use. No glitching and I'm sold. I sent the Gen4 back and I'm extremely happy with the Sport. I wish I got the pink onr but changing the band is super easy so whatever lol.

Beautiful & Lightweight
Rating: 5
I love this smartwatch. Before ordering, I was worried about the white nylon looking like a toy.. but after seeing it in person, I think the design is very elegant. The watch is beautiful and I love that its nice enough to wear to work and comfortable enough to wear at home. Its incredibly lightweight and feels very comfortable while exercising and throughout my day. Most of the time I forget that I have it on. I have a very small wrist size and the watch doesn't feel overly big. The software generally responds quickly, especially Google assistant. There have been a few lags here and there, but not often enough to bother me. The battery has been lasting me all day, with all-day heart rate monitoring on and tracking workouts. Good work Fossil!

I would buy this again in a heartbeat!

I love this watch! It does everything I would want in a smartwatch and more! I love the simplicity of the design and how cute it is!

Reliable Wear OS Watch with good battery life.
Rating: 5
I bought this watch to use with my Google Pixel 3a XL after reading many Wear OS Watch rankings that say this is the watch for the money. After using it for a few weeks, I am pretty impressed overall. I mainly use it to help triage notifications so I don't have to continuously pull my phone out of my pocket throughout the day. The watch is easy to use, has a good battery life, and looks nice on the wrist. I have recommended picking one up to a few friends as well!

Cute & Comfy!
Rating: 4
Love the look and fit! The band is very flexible and comfortable! I am a beach photographer in Galveston (#planitinkphotographygalveston), so comfort , style and being waterproof are important to me! I ordered one for my husband and now my daughter wants one! I've always loved Fossil brand. I only wish the battery life was a little better. But, all-in-all it's a great stylish watch!

Best wear is smartwatch but more rose gold than gold
Rating: 4
This is an amazing wear is watch. My only complaint is that the silicone grey watch is more rose gold than gold and if I knew that I would have gotten black instead.

Kinda glitchy, battery life is just OK
Rating: 4
Overall, I like the watch and it fits well on my wrist. I did have to install a 3rd party app to get the notifications to work properly, and upon research, I noticed a lot of people have the same problem. Battery life is just OK... definitely need to recharge daily.

Pretty watch, bells and whistles don't work great
Rating: 3
I connected this watch to my iphone (or rather continually reconnect it throughout the day because it disconnects so often) and it works okay. It took a while for texts and calls to come through as notifications, but it randomly started working one day. Battery life is pretty good. I haven't tried to do very much on it, just use it for the time, an alarm clock, and for notifications from my phone. The watch is physically very attractive. It's a good size and the band is small enough to fit my little wrist. I like everything about it, just wish it worked better with iphones. I've read it works better with other phones.

Bad battery life
Rating: 2
The look and feel of this watch is good but has poor battery life. I workout a lot and the battery wouldn't even last for 8 hours. I have a small wrist. It couldn't detect my heart rate most of the times as the watch dint fit well around my wrist.

Loved it until it broke.
Rating: 1
I had one of the original smart watches by fossil, adored it. I wore it daily until the screen no longer worked....years. When I saw the price of the sport watch I couldn't pass it up! When I received it, it is much lighter due to being made of plastic. I wore it for a little over two weeks and really liked the function for the most part. Yesterday it slipped off my wrist and fell to concrete. The bracket that holds the band in place broke off. There is no repairing it. I'm trying to figure out if there is a warranty but this seems like something that absolutely should not happen on a watch. They should be designed for wear and tear and impact. After 2 weeks I have no watch. Horribly disappointed in the quality.
